IMPULSE
SERIES OF COLLAB INSTALLATIONS
NPAK - CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY EXPERIMENTAL ART (ARMENIA, 2024)
The artworks below are made in cooperation with sculpture artist Armine Avetisyan and musician and curator Narek Buniatyan.

“Impulse” is an artist-run initiative that showcases multimedia art pieces, interdisciplinary installations, immersive experiences, and participatory artworks. Collaboration and an interactive experience are at the core of the exhibition.

Here, we display art as a collective game, encouraging to participate—touch, strike, interfere… The games we create are reinterpreted through the visitor's involvement. With this exhibition, we emphasize the importance of engaging with art in a united effort towards cultural ascension.

The exhibition is organized with the support of Yerevan's contemporary art center NPAK in the frameworks of the “How to Survive as an Emerging Artist 2.0” program by “ICA Yerevan” and “ArtNexus” initiated by the participating artists.

CIRCLE DANCE

Here, I programmed and implemented an Arduino-based movement-sensitive device that plays music whenever someone spins the sculpture.

KLASSIK KLASS

I equipped this installation with Kinect-based projection that reacted to people playing the popular post-Soviet children's klassik game.
